Since 1984, the Performing and Visual Arts, Northwest (PAVAN) program has served the counties of Clarke, Frederick, Loudoun, Shenandoah, Warren and the City of Winchester providing both academic and summer arts programs.

Programs are offered to all public, private and home-schooled students.

Summer programs include:

The prestigious Summer Regional Governor's School program for rising 9th - 12th grade students, Arts Alive Workshops for rising 7th - 12th grade students, Arts Expedition Camps for rising 4th - 6th grade students and Artists in Bloom Day Camp for rising 1st - 3rd grade students.

PAVAN also offers a wide variety of after school arts classes, clubs, Saturday classes and workshops during the academic school year.
