Performing and Visual Arts, Northwest (PAVAN) is no longer accepting applications for the prestigious 2010 Summer Regional Governor’s School program. The 2010 program offers rising 9th – 12th graders a two week intensive study in their choice of theatre, dance, guitar, instrumental jazz band, vocal music or visual arts. PAVAN serves public, private and home-schooled students living in Clarke, Frederick, Loudoun, Shenandoah and Warren counties and the City of Winchester through both academic year and summer programs.  

Summer Regional Governor’s School will be held in Frederick County Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. July 6 – July 16, 2010 with a closing performance and exhibition on the evening on the evening of Friday, July 16th.  All students who wish to participate in the 2010 Summer Regional Governor’s School must be able to attend the program in its entirety. 

Students who are accepted through the audition process to attend the two-week Summer Regional Governor’s School are awarded a full scholarship to attend.   

- Students must be residents of Clarke, Frederick, Loudoun, Shenandoah or Warren counties, or the City of Winchester. Public, private and home-schooled students are encouraged to apply.
